BIOGRAPHY
Liu Yuanyuan got her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Beijing Foreign Studies University and is now doing her Post-doc research at Shanghai International Studies University. She got the full scholarship to study at Smith College for one year and was then funded by Smith to conduct research at Divinity School Library of Yale University. She currently takes the position of lecturer at School of Education, Shanghai International Studies University.
RESEARCH FIELDS
Her academic specialty has been in the areas of historiography of linguistics, language and identity as well as language policy. She presided six research projects which are funded by China and American research foundations, including China language Commission, Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Women and Social Change Foundation (America), etc. She has one monograph in press, and is also co-author of a textbook for secondary school English teaching. She has eighteen publications until now, including one monograph (in press), one co-authored textbook, and sixteen papers, among which one SSCI, one ESCI and five CSSCI (China Social Science Cited Index) publications are included.
