课程概述:

      本课程为上海外国语大学面向英语专业和翻译专业一年级学生开设的一门专业选修课,以文学体裁为切入点,提供了包括散文、诗歌、戏剧、小说等不同体裁的教学内容,帮助学生积累英美文学相关的基础知识,掌握核心概念,在此基础上了解英美文学史的基本发展脉络,知晓不同时期的文学特征,熟悉重要的作家作品,并学习如何赏析文学作品,为后续高阶段文学课程奠定扎实的基础。在文本细读的同时,注重融入相应的文化与历史背景,丰富学生的人文知识储备,提升学生的人文素养。
